I would like to thank the staff of Quest For Independence (QFI)for the successful program that Jason has been a part of. For the past few years Jason has been in and out of various programs which have not been conducive to his personality and behaviors. QFI's philosophy of customizing their program to individual's specific needs and behaviors has worked out very well. We have found the staff to be genuinely sincere with Jason. The concept of assessing an individual's current behavior's, helping the client identify goals, and then taking the attitude of "personal success" is what has made the program unique. Jason wants to be an active part of the program every day. We have found also that there is a caring and loving environment throughout the facility, but also, when need be, "tough love" and behavior modifications and control, are discussed and displayed. These behavior expectations that are instilled each day at the program are what has changed Jason's overall attitude and behavior's. No other program has helped Jason in this respect. The team meetings that are held with staff bring together support staff that allow free exchanges of ideas, and also allow for the review of past behaviors, good and bad, and improvements upon what has already been working. It is our hope that Jason will continue his progress at QFI. Our long terms hope of self reliance in a group home environment may be a long way off, but QFI is providing the necessary foundation for growth, personal development, and instituting positive behaviors along with self confidence, for Jason to be a successful person. Our Heartfelt Thanks.

“Quest for Independence is a wonderful alternative for the individuals we serve. The small group sizes and individualized attention has been very beneficial to our clients. Staff at Quest for Independence are able to accommodate their needs and always do so with a smile. Our clients enjoy attending Quest for Independence and the individualized programming they receive is a great supplement to the programming they receive at their home. In some cases, we have seen a dramatic decrease in behaviors and incidents as compared to when they attended other day programs. I feel that this is due to the fact that they are truly happy with the services being provided at Quest for Independence. Every day is a new learning experience and they are constantly challenged with unique and creative activities.”
